Making space for play every day

-

When was the last time you played?

Practicing play has so many proven benefits for us, from maintaining our memory, to improving problem solving skills, to helping us be more resilient, and reducing stress. But often as adults, we don’t make time for play.

In this dynamic workshop, you’ll reconnect with the power of play and try some simple ideas to incorporate more playful moments into your routine. Nikki Shaill from Originary Arts will take you through different creative prompts as you share your ideas at ‘play stations’ – from inventing new games with everyday objects, to creative exercises and prompts to get your imagination activated. (If you’ve ever wondered how you’d tackle tasks on TV’s Taskmaster, then this is the workshop for you!)

All are welcome to join and experiment with how play, like rest, might find more ways into your 24/7.
