Khamani Edwards is the multi-award-winning 18-year-old founder of KJ’s Craft Time.
Accessibility is central to the KJ’s Craft Time brand, which creates themed craft boxes – from Space and Ancient Egypt to Mermaids and Pirates – each designed to engage children with the world around them while developing essential fine motor skills. Khamani lives with dystonia, a neurological condition that affects mobility. He has developed a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Range with adaptive tools like non-spill paint pots, grip-friendly brushes and spring-assisted scissors.
Alongside running the business, Khamani is a CENMAC ambassador, an MC at the UK’s leading assistive technology event Communication Works, and a member of the Unloc Youth Board.
