Ten years ago, Jo Tutchener-Sharp nearly died. She suffered a brain haemorrhage and, after having life-saving brain surgery that could have killed her, spent weeks in hospital.
What would you do, if, like Jo, you got a second chance at life?
For Jo, it meant throwing everything up in the air and seizing the chance do some good in the world. Previously CEO of a PR company for high profile brands including Dolce & Gabbana, she stepped away from this sector and founded Scamp & Dude. It’s a British B Corp™ Certified, purpose-led clothing brand that aims to make a positive impact supporting children and families facing difficult times.
Giving back is at its core, through charity collaborations and community-led campaigns. For instance, for every Superhero Sleep Buddy it sells, another is donated to a child who’s seriously ill or who has lost a parent. For every Super Scarf sold, another is donated to a woman with cancer – that’s 68,000 and counting.
Jo will share her story of being inspired to make a difference in the world, and the importance of thinking about our own legacies and purpose before it’s too late.
